aniazajaczek.pl

A clean, conversion focused online store for handcrafted educational materials. Built on WordPress and WooCommerce from the ground up.

aniazajaczek.pl is a one-person brand selling printable and physical educational materials for children. The brief was direct: a professional-looking storefront the owner could manage independently, with a smooth purchasing experience for parents and educators.

The project was development-led with no formal research or design phase. Visual direction was shaped live in WordPress on a staging server, iterating directly with the client on real pages rather than static mockups. Her brand references and existing identity guided each decision, keeping the process fast and grounded.

WooCommerce powers the full shop: product listings, category filtering, cart, checkout, and order management. All configured so the client can add new products and update stock without any technical assistance.

How it
came together

03
01 — Visual Direction

Warm, approachable visual identity

Working directly from the client's brand references and a mood board she assembled, the visual direction took shape on a live staging server from the very first session. A system of soft, natural tones, warm creams, muted sage, earthy accents. Emerged through real pages the client could react to, not abstract mockups she had to interpret.

Typography pairs a playful serif for headings with a clean, highly legible sans for product descriptions and UI copy. The aesthetic communicates craftsmanship and care without ever feeling fussy, important for a brand whose audience is parents choosing materials for their children.

02 — Development

WordPress & WooCommerce, built live for one person to own

The entire site was built in WordPress on a live staging server, with each section sent to the client for review as it was completed. WooCommerce was layered in directly, product listings, variable products (printable vs. physical), category pages, and a streamlined guest checkout. All shaped through real feedback rather than a separate handoff phase.

The admin experience received as much attention as the frontend: intuitive product entry, clear stock management, and automatic order notification emails make day-to-day operations genuinely friction-free. Cookie consent, performance optimisation, and full mobile responsiveness were all handled before the domain went live.

03 — Results

A self-sufficient storefront

The client launched with a fully operational store she manages entirely on her own, adding products, processing orders, and updating content without any ongoing technical support. The streamlined checkout has kept cart abandonment low and the purchase path short.

The visual direction resonated immediately with her audience: the warm, handcrafted aesthetic communicates trust and care — values central to a brand selling materials for children's education.
